Those were the days…

I think today is the last day of Summer, so I figured it was a good day to post our Summer vacation pictures. We went to sunny and hot AZ as usual a few weeks ago and it was so much fun! Basically, we ate, rested, ate, swam, ate, played games, ate, watched movies, ate and ate! :) Maysyn and I aren’t pictured much because well, she was busy “swinning” and I was the one behind the camera and quite often in my pjs as you can see! :) It was so relaxing and fun, but of course a distant memory now that the craziness of back to school has begun. It seems like everyone I know is crazy busy right now and the lazy days of Summer are behind us all! Gonna slow it down tomorrow though when I head out to Napa (eeeeek!!!!!!). Hope to bring back some pictures and stories! Happy Friday!

Hey ya’ll!

 

 

 
Well here I am for a quick second to say hello to all my blogging buddies! Also to declare that I miss blogging! I really h word blogging about blogging and how I miss it but don’t have time for it, but here I am saying it AGAIN! :) I am going to try to do it though! :) I am meeting up with my dear friend Sarah (eeek, can’t wait!!!) in a couple of weeks, FOR REAL whom I met right here in blog world! Had she not been a blogger I would have never found her or formed this incredible friendship! It has inspired me to get back on here when I can!! Henry is growing so fast and I find myself looking back on my old blog to see what Maysyn was doing at this age and realizing that so much of her life and ours was documented! Little stuff I wouldn’t remember is right there written down with pictures to boot! So, with all that being said, I am checking in to say hey and that I hope to be back soon to share some of what the crazy Blake Bunch has been up to! The picture of Maysyn does happen to be recent, she was helping me test the light and a location for an upcoming senior shoot. But it’s all I had time to grab! SO there you have it! Is it possible to be over the moon with excitement and anticipation but also feel like you are going to throw up you are so nervous? The answer is yes! That is exactly how I feel! I never imagined that I would be able to do what I am about to do! Although,in a way though it’s like I have been preparing for it my whole life. A little Oprah-ish, but I am going with it! I have always loved taking pictures, art, and all things creative. I love people and their love for one another and I love capturing it on film. I started out just a Mom who wanted to take really good pictures of her kiddos as they grew and have images that would be timeless. I ended up a…I can’t even say it! Just follow me and see, would you? To my new home,  7 of June.

Baby Lorann {more peeky}

To say this was a perfect shoot would be an understatement! We started off wondering if the little miss was going to settle in and sleep for us at all. Then she got comfy and the rest is history! It was amazing and I am so happy that we got it done! Only sad part was that big sister got a cold and couldn’t join us :(.

SO wish that I could share more but the Blake’s have some plans to attend to. My big reveal is ready! So stay tuned! Have a great Memorial Day!

Have you ever?

Had Mastitis? If you have, you have my sympathy. If you haven’t, consider yourself very very blessed :). It rendered me absolutely helpless yesterday just as I was about to take more pictures of Lorann. Raging fever, body aches, chills, trip to the urgent care, need I say more? :) Today I am recovering slowly and we will make things right with the sweet baby girl tomorrow. Luckily her mama has had it before and was not only understanding, but helped me through the whole ordeal via text! Thanks Nicole!

I have my studio all set up so I snuck a quick picture of Henry. I know he is mine and all, but couldn’t you just eat him up?! :)

Baby Lorann {peeky peeky}

Oh how I am in love with this baby girl! Lorann is the sweetest little peanut and I can’t wait to take more pictures of her tomorrow! We wanted to take advantage of the warm weather and get some pictures outside. I had envisioned green grass and wildflowers but everything had died since I was at this location last. I panicked for a second but it worked out beautifully!  Thanks so much for sharing her Nicole!!! We will be much more comfortable in the “studio” :) and we will get big sis in the mix!
